Employee Retention Benefit for Hurricanes Irma and Maria

Recognizing that a large number of taxpayers have not been able to obtain all the required information to submit the application of the employee retention benefit and that such federal funds are vital in the recovery and support of the businesses in Puerto Rico, the PRTD, in agreement with the United States Treasury, has decided to

 

extend the due date to file the application of the employee retention benefits until June 30, 2019.

 

Likewise, and pursuant to the Internal Revenue Informative Bulletin Number 19-07 issued on May 17, 2019, the due date to file any claim pursuant to the provisions of the Internal Revenue Circular Letter 18-20 regarding such application has also been extended until July 10, 2019.
