26 May FPVG Adds to the Rhythm and Beauty of “Mosaico Caribeño”
Music is one of the most fabulous expressions of the human being because it manages to transmit different sensations that other forms of art may not. Music is a complex system of sounds, melodies, and rhythms that man has been discovering and elaborating to obtain an infinity of different possibilities. At FPV & Galíndez, LLC we believe there is a social element in music and for that reason, we contributed to a spring concert by “Coro de Niños de San Juan” called “Mosaico Caribeño”.
“Coro de Niño de San Juan” was founded in 1966 by Evy Lucío Córdova. It is a non-profit institution devoted to musical education. The selection of the children is very thorough because they seek the top-performing children between the ages of 5 to 18 years old.
During the 17th and 18th of May 2019 in Sala de Teatro René Marqués of Centro de Bellas Artes Luis A. Ferré, almost 1,500 guests attended “Mosaico Caribeno”, their much-anticipated Spring concert. Everyone enjoyed listening to the splendid voices of “Coro de Niños de San Juan” in a program that was focused on a journey through the islands and countries of the Caribbean with folkloric pieces.
We enjoy music and it is essential in our lives. It has many positive effects on human beings because it can be moving, relaxing, great for workouts, bringing family and friends together. Hopefully, we can continue the commitment to developing music in Puerto Rico.
